How much more of a confidence builder can God give us than those words uttered by Christ “Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none” (Joh 18:9)?

In this four part study with Psalm 65, we learn of the process that God ordained to make it possible in this life for Christ to “lose none”.

The end result of God working with Christ’s body, the church, through every joint that supplies, is a new creation that is formed to the glory of God.

God’s elect are humbled through the trials that Christ takes them through, trials that have been prepared from the foundation of the world, to bring forth fruit that would remain and be used to grow the church (Joh 15:16) to a place where they can be used to be “the third ruler in the kingdom” (Dan 5:29).

God has shown great mercy to us, toward those who are the weak of the world, to demonstrate that our discipleship is predicated on His mercy (Rom 11) and is a witness to the world of what is really important: not the strength of man’s flesh but the weakness that God makes His strength perfect through.
