One in Christ

This song (One in Christ) came about with comments and verses after one of Mike’s studies a few weeks back (http://www.iswasandwillbe.com/the-keys-to-the-kingdom-of-heaven-part-2/) and thoughts on this section in particular:

…and those who have “the keys [the ladder] to the kingdom of heaven” are His body “set up on the earth” through whom “might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God”. The ‘keys’ and the ‘ladder’ are both one and the same; they are Christ and His doctrine, and by Christ’s own decree, they are also all those who have His doctrine:…

which carried into my study that same week when a beautiful and inspiring truth was mentioned about how we are that angel to one another who prevents Christ (who we are) from stumbling:

Luk 22:40  And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
Luk 22:41  And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
Luk 22:42  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Luk 22:43  And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

Mat 4:6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mat 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

We have been so blessed to bear Christ up in our hands and to have felt the love of Christ in our family bearing our burdens as we fulfill the law of Christ for each other.

Gal 6:2  Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

We pray this song lifts your spirits and reminds us all of the certainty of that which God is accomplishing through His angels who “bear thee up in their hands”

Psa 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Luk 4:11  And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
