This song entitled “One Day” points to the hope that is ours in this life to be able to wipe away each others tears today (Rev 21:4).

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

God is preparing his children to be able to wipe away all the tears of this world and He has given us the mind of Christ that can be a comfort to one another, as we help each other bear the burdens the Lord allows for our spiritual growth (2Ti 2:12 , 2Co 1:4 , 1Co 2:16).

2Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Before all things can be made new (Rev 21:5) we must see the old destroyed, and our hearts must be set on the things that are above (Col 3:2) looking to Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2). The holy spirit symbolized by the dove is what gives us the power to set our minds on things above as we learn to rejoice through the trials of this life together, bearing each others burdens and wiping away each others tears.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
