1:
You searched me God,
You know my heart,
You understand,
My thoughts from afar.
Before I speak,
You know all my words,
Before I make a move,
You direct all my steps.

2:
Where shall I go,
Away from you?
You rule the heavens,
You rule on earth.
You reign in life,
You reign in death.
You control the light,
You control darkness.

CHORUS:
You possess my inward parts,
You have formed me in my mother’s womb,
You wrote all my days in your book,
Before any was there!
You know my prayer,
Long before I ask,
As You cause all things,
You work all things together,
For my good!

3:
You’ve closed me in
In front and behind.
You’ve laid your hand
upon my life.
You know where I sit,
and where I lie down,
You are well acquainted
with all my ways.

CHORUS:
You possess my inward parts,
You have formed me in my mother’s womb,
You wrote all my days in your book,
Before any was there!
You know my prayer,
Long before I ask,
As You cause all things,
You work all things together,
For my good!

MUSIC

4.
You know where we sit,
and where we lie down,
You are well acquainted
with all our ways.

CHORUS:
You possess our inward parts,
You have formed us in our mother’s womb,
You wrote all our days in your book,
Before any was there!
You know our prayer,
Long before we ask,
As You cause all things,
You work all things together,
For our good!

ENDING:
As in Adam all die
So in Christ will all be made alive!
As in Adam all die
So in the Christ will all be made alive!
