SPOKEN WORD:
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only-begotten Son
that whoever believes in Him
should not perish
but have everlasting life.
The spirit of the Father is on Jesus Christ
To proclaim this good news
good news to the weak
good news to the poor
good news for the brokenhearted
good news for all in captivity of sin
good news to the blind
and good new to those who are crushed.
CHORUS 1:
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of life.
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You’re taking us from earthly strife.
SPOKEN WORD:
You are the Saviour of the lost,
You are the Spirit of Truth
You are the Comforter for those who mourn,
You are the Strength to the weak.
CHORUS 2:
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You give us the bread of life.
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You give us the water that revive.
SPOKEN WORD:
You have the Words of eternal life,
And we have believed and have known
that You are the Christ,
the Son of the living God.
CHORUS 3:
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of life.
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You’re taking us from earthly strife.
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You give us the breath of life.
Lord, to whom shall we go?
You give the waters that revive.
SPOKEN WORD:
In Adam we all are lost,
In Christ we all will be saved.
In Adam we are all blind,
In Christ we will see.
In Adam we are brokenhearted,
In Christ all tears will be dried.
In Adam we all are naked,
In Christ we will all be clothed.
ENDING:
In Adam we are in prison,
In Christ we are set free!
In Adam we are dead,
In Christ we all shall live!
In Adam we are all lonely,
In Christ we find His family!
In Christ we are the accepted sons of God!
Jesus Christ is the Saviour of this world!
Christ is indeed the Saviour of all!
These words of life are comfort to me, especially when we are going through the storms of life that are always there from time to time producing more faith in Him. I like the contrast of being in Adam then in Christ.. Where shall we go, but to the Lord. ~Bettie
