This key note and 1st Psalm that God has given us reveals our need to cry out to Him to have mercy on us in this age as he drags us to Him (Heb 5:7 , Joh 6:44).

Heb 5:7  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Joh 6:44  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

When God drives away the chaff of our life by dragging us to the living waters of Christ, He is in fact showing mercy to us and receiving us as sons and daughters (Heb 12:6). It is through the process of coming out of the earth, earth earth (Jer 22:29) that we can be planted and matured in a heavenly relationship with our Husbandman (Jas 5:7).

Heb 12:6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Jer 22:29  O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

Jas 5:7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

This painful process — for the flesh — of suffering much tribulation through this life is the means to the end that God’s elect are blessed to endure as a kind of first fruits who cry out to God: “Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David”.

Mat 20:30  And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
Mat 20:31  And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

We can be brought unto maturity by ‘enduring until the end’ through Christ (Jas 1:4 , Mat 24:13 , Php 3:14 , Php 4:13) as God devises the means (2Sa 14:14) to have all the events of our life work out according to the council of his will and for the good for those who are blessed to be loved of God in this age (Eph 1:11 , Rom 8:28).

Jas 1:4  But let patience have her perfect [G5046 = Teleios] work, that ye may be perfect [G5046 = Teleios] and entire, wanting nothing.

Rotherham: But let, your endurance, have, mature work, that ye may be mature and complete, in nothing, coming short.

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Php 3:14  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Php 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2Sa 14:14  For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The end result of being blessed to endure until the end will be that we will grow into saviors who have been planted by the river side and now have rivers of living water flowing forth from our belly making it possible for us to judge mount Esau which typifies the world (Oba 1:21 , Joh 7:38 , Psa 1:3).

Oba 1:21  And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

Joh 7:38  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Psa 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper

We can only accomplish this by being in the midst of Christ today, meaning we come together often and assemble ourselves (Heb 10:25),  so that each joint can supply help to the other as we bear each others’ burden and therein grow into these spiritual fruit-bearing trees described so brightly in the book of Revelation (Rev 22:2 , Rev 5:6 , Rev 7:17).

Rev 22:2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Rev 5:6  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Rev 7:17  For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Rev 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
