Earth was first empty and dark
Subjected to vanity at the start
The first man was made in flesh, and marred
All in the Potter’s hand.

All evil filled the deep from our birth
With creeping creatures all over our earth
Unclean fowls in our heaven brought forth
We’re all on the Potter’s wheel.

Then You called the Light to shine in our hearts
To bring Your insight to our paths
O Father, how good it is
To be seated with the Christ
To be turned to His Light.

Now the war in our heavens prevail
Maturing separating good from evil
As we enter behind His veil
We’re all in the Potter’s hand.

Little children your sins are forgiven
Fathers you know Him who’s from the beginning
Young men you overcome through Him
We’re all on the Potter’s wheel.
