Fingers pointing,
Whispers in the dark,
Who does He think He is?
Claiming to be the Son of God!
Despised and rejected,
A man filled with sorrows,
Acquainted with grief,
Not esteemed by the world.

They dragged to trial,
To face all their deceit,
They mocked Him with vile,
His fate was complete.
As the enemies cry
Against His words of truth.
Crucify crucify,
Eye for eye, tooth for tooth.

To give us His life,
To show us the way,

The kings and the rulers of the earth
Are united against the Lord, and against His Christ.
to fulfil whatever God’s hand and God’s counsel
before determined to be done.
We all in our ignorance and blinded eye,
Fulfil our lusts and our pride,
We betray and we kill Him
By rejecting His truth and hating those He sends our path!
But through His Words,
His blood
Through His spirit
He will give us all His glorious life.

Shouting vile at us.
As we share His reproach,
We complete the Christ.

In Christ we do not resist the evil;

In Christ we speak boldly in His light;
In Adam we are high and lofty,
In Christ we are meek and lowly.
In Adam we point accusing fingers,
In Christ we are His praise singers;
In Adam we brag with our efforts,
In Christ we receive His righteousness;
In Adam we all die,
In Christ we shall all live with Him!
"His Branch"
